Bald Eagles Information

Question:  Do you know how fast a bald eagle can fly?
The average migratory/soaring speed of an eagle is around 31 mph, but normal flight speed from perch to perch is much less than this.  The Bald Eagle catches prey by flying low and typically snatching prey with their feet.  When engaging in this behavior, they can reach speeds up to 75 mph.  They are amazing creatures, and you can learn more about their behaviors, diet, nests and other facts through the additional resources listed below.
